In particular, the development of intermodal transportation offers supports a sustainable mobility. These include an effective, attractive and inexpensive public transport, the development of an attractive bicycle traffic (e.g. rental system, parking facilities, operational management), pedestrian traffic (e.g. zones with fewer car traffic, car-free zones, stops of public transport within walking distance), but also the support of car-sharing offers (e.g. free-floating, e-vehicle). The employment of vehicles with alternative drives (e.g. power from renewable energies, hydrogen) gains more and more importance.
No matter if trees, greenfields, parks, facade greening or green courtyards "urban green" makes our cities and regions more liveable and increases their attractivity. The quality of living increases, the recreation and a positive urban climate is supported.
